VACAVILLE, Calif. – (March 10, 2025) - Travis Credit Union Foundation announces the application deadline has been extended  for its 2025 Financial Coaching Grants program until March 31. This initiative is an opportunity for one Northern California nonprofit organization to access $30,000 in unrestricted funding and up to $9,000 to train its staff to become financial coaches. A Student Loan Assistance Program that Reduces Loan Burdens by $5,000 for Qualifying Candidates.

Known as the Community Heroes program, this new initiative aims to alleviate student loan burdens for individuals making a significant impact in their local communities, whether through professional careers or personal volunteer efforts.

VACAVILLE, CA – January 8, 2024 - Travis Credit Union Foundation announces that applications are open today for its 2024 Financial Coaching Grants program. The Financial Coaching Grant aims to strengthen nonprofit organizations and create a network of financial coaches that empower communities in Northern California with increased financial literacy. Each grant will total $30,000 for general operating support and up to $9,000 in professional development for nonprofit staff. There are three grants available in 2024. ​The Travis Credit Union Foundation will make a $20,000 donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals; UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Merced Valley Children’s Hospital, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital this year.  

“I want to send a sincere thanks to more than 1,000 donors who helped raise $10,000 in donations that the Travis Credit Union Foundation will match to support the work of the Children’s Miracle Network,” said Kevin Miller, Board Chairman of the Travis Credit Union Foundation and CEO and President of the Travis Credit Union. 

VACAVILLE, CA – While the challenges of 2020 are unprecedented, there were more opportunities this year than in Travis Credit Union’s 70-year history to create value for our members and local community. In a nine-month span, Travis Credit Union implemented multiple financial relief initiatives for members and distributed more than three million dollars to community partners providing essential services, all while serving and advocating for our members and neighbors in new and creative ways.

Vacaville, CA – The Travis Credit Union Foundation announced that it raised over $1M for the COVID-19 Relief Initiative, which was matched by Travis Credit Union, for a total of $2M which will be distributed to 83 local community organizations, many who are providing resources and services to individuals and families impacted by the pandemic.
