Barry began his career at Travis Credit Union in January 2000 as assistant vice president of finance. He was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer in 2001, senior vice president chief operating officer in 2006 and became executive vice president in June 2013. In August 2014, Barry was promoted to president and CEO.
Barry’s Masters of Business Administration was attained from Columbia Southern University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University. He has also completed chief executive officer training from the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) and the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
Locally, Barry is a Rotarian and a Paul Harris Fellow. He serves on the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce board and the Solano County Economic Development Council board. Barry was also selected in 2018 as a representative to the Air Mobility Command (AMC) Civic Leader Program where he will serve as a key advisor, communicating and advocating for AMC and Air Force issues. Additionally, he is a former board director of the Vacaville Public Education Foundation, the California Credit Union League and XCU Capital Corporation, Inc.
Barry currently resides in Vacaville with his wife, Karen.
